Twones achieves this through an extension of Firefox (or Internet Explorer add-on) that control everything from iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp and play the music you hear on websites such as YouTube, Last.fm, HypeMachine and SkreemR. Rather than having to install a plug-in for each desktop application or waiting for each site there to support Last.fm, the city only deals all via their Firefox extension. Capture for players of office, at least, is that Firefox must be run for the job tracker. If you're a Firefox user, you probably have the browser running all the time anyway, so this is probably not a rock.
